Tourist Walking Tours
The “Confiança Porto” Municipal Recognition Programme – Tourist Walking Tours aims to distinguish all who organize and/or promote tourist walking guided tours on Porto’s city, as well as to their promoters on online platforms and another promotional channels, travel agency or tour operators and single entities, that realize scheduled visits subjects of pre-booking or spontaneous adhesion, with payment modes or throug tips tour, in the beginning or finish of visit.
Programme objectives

Certify the service providers of walking tours, using the promotion of content training and new narratives

Award “Confiança Porto” recognition to service providers that comply with the programme
3
Increase the preservation of the identity and memory of places and the diversity and uniqueness of the tourism product throughout the territory
4
Decentralise and control tourist flows and stimulate the creation of new tourist attraction centres that promote prolonged visits and have a positive impact on the tourist experience
5
Consolidate international demand for Porto and, at the same time, contribute to increasing the quality of life of the city’s residents.
Requirements:

Presentation of content’s portfolio

Carrying out tourist walking tours in at least 3 different areas of the city.

Reservation of visits on one or more idioms.
4
Booking tourist walking tours on online platforms.
